The Pet Center is a place to adopt a pet for your web page. This pet is personalized just for you. He/She doesn't require any feeding or grooming. They don't cost anything. All they ask for is a good home.
Why should I adopt a pet?
They aren't like regular pets. They don't eat, need to be walked, or require a lot of time or effort. They don't need anyhting except a good home and they don't require you to buy anything for them. They love sitting on your website and watch the people.
How do I adopt a pet?
Adopting a pet is simple. You pick out a pet by browsing the online pet store/gallery. Writing down the three-letter codes of the pets you'd like (up to five). Then you pick a font and font color for your web address and site name. Then you fill out the order form. Then you will recieve you pet and it's html code. Simply paste the code in your site and upload the update. Since direct-linking is not allowed, you'll also have to upload the pet and banner.
What do I get for adopting a pet?
You get the pet, the banner, and the code. The banner contains your name and site address as well as the pet's name and Our address/name. For you the owner, you get a certificate with the pet's name, site name, site address, and date to name you the proud parent of the pet. We also add your site to our list of sites that adopted pets.
Are there any requirements for adopting a pet?
Just a couple. You need an e-mail address since the pet's are sent by e-mail. You also need a website. If you don't have a website , E-mail us and let us know why you would like the pet and what you plan on doing with it. If we approve, you'll get your pet. You also need to link the banner back to this center. The code contains the neccessary link.
I don't see pet I like. Can you make a custom one for me?
Yes, since the number of images we can put in the gallery at one time is limited,we can't display all our pets at once. If you're looking for something specific, fill out the order form and indicate in the large text area what you are looking for. If you have an image url, put that in and we'll send you you're new pet. We'll try to match your request with the right pet. Custom orders take longer.
